That was the frustrating thing, it was there but it simply never came out enough.
Despite it being a losing effort the Frazier fight was his finest moment.

Probably around Dillian Whyte level to be perfectly honest.

he never win against anyone very good. did he?

at European level he knock out Lucien Rodriguez & Anders Eklund only of notables. but Rodriguez a few years over passed his prime & Eklund another of mediocre standards European. Quarless also KO Eklund so what. Bruno never defend European title

never even challenger for British title.

at world titles & world of " alphabet ' ' titles was thrown enough of chances to make it to WBC winner with Oliver McCall on fourth chance & was knocked out all 3 challenges previous .

    his best wins= McCall+ Bugner + Coetzee + Coetzer
Bugner was old on comebacks & Coetzee also had dropped from the contenders level over weight & look for one last pay

Bruno was only created from hype. to suggest him as rating high on European heavyweights of all the time. no this is not reasonable

Yeah that's how I'd call it
Frazier came rolling in to finish Bugner off when Big Joe cracked him with a perfect counter.

Bugner's best performance albeit a losing one.

Definitely, Stevie. Joe B put in a good show of work against Joe F. Took some hefty shots.
I don't think Joe had a bad chin on him really.

At the time Frank Bruno was in his prime he was the number 1 European heavyweight star.
Until the arrival of Lennox Lewis (European heavyweight superstar number 1), to whom he lost.

Frank Bruno Vs Lennox Lewis is one my favourite fights Bruno was popping that jab out and landing well until he fatigued and started clinching and throwing rabbit punches at Lewis. Lewis managed to catch him with a left hook and then stopped Bruno. I reckon despite Bruno losing it's one of his best performances he was really motivated to beat Lewis but couldn't sustain the pace to out point of him. I rewatched that fight a few times it's certainly a British boxing classic.

it very difficult to see many world level or even the Euro levels boxers in the Frank Bruno boxing record.
who did he win against then who was good prime Europe levels? or even of good British championship qualities boxers?

    Eklund?

Bruno was good strong man & puncher
    but not quality boxer
.medium level boxer with good promoter & large fans base .
with 4 shots at world titles until he becomes " world champion '' ' alongside the rest of them.
& McCall was not consistent world levels either.

Bruno has great management & the match making to build from

Frank definitely did well for the first half of the fight and I had him ahead before Lewis caught him and finished it.
In his prime, Bruno was one of the best in the world…

But only over the first Six rounds!
