You can but some judges value 1 power punch to 5 or 6 jabs. Mayer fought like a coward.

I had her winning by one Mayer but Baum won 4 clear Mayer jabbed her head off I thought in 5 rounds but maybe one or two scrappy looking tight ones surprised me that did

 

Some contract that was that she had to go elsewhere to get the fight. Typical Hearn trying to be involved in everything.

 

Myer fought like any taller person with long levers should against a shorter explosive fighter.

I know what you’re saying but clever judges should know that jabbing and keeping a fight on the outside whilst dictating the middle of the ring is a good way to win a fight better than throwing a handful of quick eyecjathing shots, most of which miss.

 

She landed plenty. Her jabs were forceful, well timed and offset her opponent and subdued her. She held centre ring for most of the fight and controlled distance well. She outlanded her too. I can make a case for a draw if I'm generous but a Baumgardner win is a bit of a joke. She didn't really have a clue on how to get inside and was relying on her opponent making mistakes.

 

She's a Matchroom fighter

 

Sky are awful these days. Smith and Macklin crap. Production crap. Singers crap. Shalom crap. Uncle Frank back on top.

 

Most overrated trainer ever. Had too much smoke blown up his arse and believes the hype he's falsely been given. A boring ******* to boot.

 

From Shields possibly. I think she'll try fight on the front-fight so Savannah can't set.

I was thinking if that's the case would Marshall fight off the backfoot but I think with her style now. She'll just look to land body shots and pivot out and hold her ground a bit more, rather than fight backwards.

I'd personally like to see Marshall ramp up the pressure after 4 rounds and put Shields on the backfoot under constant pressure.

It's for me if Marshall can get into a rhythm. If she can't then she will struggle, if she can then she will wear Shields down imo. Shields blows out of her arse in her fights.

People keep mentioning Marshall KO power...it's not the KO power it's the power she has that breaks opponents down so quickly, that's what people are under-estimating imo. Shields will have never had that before...I don't see her as some defensive genius, so she's going to get tagged a bit imo. At the same time Marshall is going to get hit more than she ever has.

 

She’s had one shite defence with Matchroom on an undercard. Hearn tagging DAZN like they’ve had a big impact.
