Claressa Shields should fight Naoya Inoue

I think she fought the game plan they had. I suspect they felt she was the bigger stronger fighter and feared Claressa walking her down and teeing off.

 

It's wasn't her chin that got hit a lot, it was the body work that Shields was doing that made Marshall's offense soft.
Some people just can't see a body shot, in here, it appears.

 

I lost 5k on Marshall. So what? I won 3k with Baumi before that. And i even won more money with Taira by Submission in the UFC tonight. Same for Brito by Sub. I'm like 5-6k up tonight so yeah...i'm going to keep "losing my wifes money"...

and for the record: I already told ya bro i'm not married just in a relationship foo.

Clarissa without any doubt won that fight and honestly I didn’t think it was that close

 

Marshall can’t beat Shields. She does not have the ability to and Claressa can take her power when she connects.

 

Should have fought going back expressing Shields to come at her & fire off combinations rather than looking for that one hard punch while following her around while weakly throwing off soft faints.

 

Savannah is too slow to put on a jab clinic from range. A good trainer would've realized this quickly and advised her to make it a rugged, physical dogfight. Between rnd 5-6 Peter was still telling her to take her time and focus on slipping shots.

 

Two of the three scorecards were 96-94 so 6-4 and you want keep telling me it wasn't a close fight? Majority in here had it 6-4/7-3 which is the definition of a close fight too. If you want to convince me you should try better bro. Effort is C-!

 

It was not close at all.

 

Boxing/fighting is the most nationalistic sport going. You’d think these fighters were representing their country in the World Cup
or something lol. I dunno I just never understood why people get so worked up over individuals. Someone winning or losing a fight has no direct impact on my life. But I guess that’s just the gambler in me talking. Some root for fighters for reasons beyond financial gain. I’m just not one of them.

 

You also said Usyk can't beat AJ. He did twice. He dominated him and beat the crap out of him. Marshall can beat Shields. But she couldn't tonight. Shields was the better fighter in there and we all can admit that. But saying "X can't beat Y" especially in women's boxing is just stupid. Are you stupid?
