It’s very close between them but I lean towards Katie Taylor. It’s not Shields’ fault but Lightweight was a lot more competitive in my opinion which gave Taylor greater chances to shine, whereas at the higher weights the depth is even lower. Taylor has some of the best footwork I have seen, her only downfall is that sometimes she fights a brawl when she doesn’t need to.
Taylor for me. She was able to parlay her amateur success into becoming a beacon for women's boxing in a way Shields just hasn't been able to. That said, it's tighter than I initially thought.
Shields has not lost to full time cop from Norway or Denmark or whatever cold country that gingercwas from Shirkds is FAR better
