You can say it didnt have power, but the physical reaction of Helenius head after Wilder hits him says otherwise, imo. If it didn't have power, what made Helenius's head swivel? I guarantee you, if I punched Helenius with a fully extended power cross, I wouldn't swivel his head in a similar manner. In fact, in all my rounds fought and sparring, I can't remember ever getting my head swiveled like that. My point is, is that if Helenius has a glass jaw, being put down from that is more believable than these two agreeing to throw the fight, imo. Should that shot have KO'd him, no. But glass chins (usually from brain damage due to taking too many punches already, imo) break like that all the time. Not to mention we don't see Helenius head impact. If video comes out of Helenius's head bouncing off the canvas you're still going to call dive on that?
That punch was more obvious than the one that put Fury down in the 3rd fight. That clearly wasn't an act.
I don't think being sent into the shadow realm is the best example to cite of a dive. So knock it off, you sound like an idiot.
Definitely wasn’t a dive his obvious limitations exposed why he was picked as a bounce back opponent for Wilder.
Helenius head moved like anyones head moves even when hit with a light punch. I am fully aware he has a glass jaw but if that knocks him out then he should be wearing a helmet in his day to day life to prevent serious injury I have no problem with anyone who believes this is real but based on the biomechanics this looks seriously suspect.
Watch the slo-mo on YouTube. Proven glass jawed Helenius got cracked clean on the chin by one of the biggest punchers of all time. That's all she wrote.
I don't think it was a dive this time, it's just Wilder hits hard and Helenius has a weak chin. Non punchers Washington and Duhaupas had him looking like Earnie Shavers just hit him, not a surprise even a Wilder punch with 50% power was able to crack his chin. Like I and a lot of ither people were saying before this fight, Helenius was no threat to WIlder, it's why he was picked as a come back opponent and no amount of spinning Kownacki as some kind of quality win and that a 38 year old Helenius was in the form of his life changes that.
I can show you plenty of examples of heads not swiveling when caught by light punches. The physics involved in causing his head to swivel, objectively and directly refute the notion the punch had 'no power'. We will just disagree on this but let me ask you again if you don't mind, if an angle comes put where it clearly shows Helenius's head bouncing off the canvas, you will still think it's a dive? You just think Helenius decides that free falling his 240lb body straight back and letting the back of his head slam off the ground is the preferred method to get stopped and take a dive?
I've always loved this sequence The Dosser swinging like a psychotic drunk gypsy and literally missing with with at least four shots against a downed stationary opponent. He even misses after resetting himself Timestamped This content is protected
