Personally I think Shields would beat her anytime because of the gap in skills, speed, defence and ring generalship. Trying to overpower Shields did not work and trying to outbox her will not either.

Wasn’t there a poster on here that said Marshall punched harder than Mayweather? I’m sure there was a thread about it.

I thought Savannah showed a lot of heart and put forth a great effort, but if you thought she won the fight last night by six rounds, then you're blind.

She was vada tested apparently. I'm not accusing her of anything- genuinely. Her sustained intensity in the early rounds, and level of energy thereafter was like nothing I've seen in her previous fights, where against much weaker opposition, she often seemed to take rounds off, and be visibly feeling the pace. I would have to put it down to realizing the challenge that awaited, and training harder and working on skills more than for any previous fight- and, the mark of a great boxer- a better quality opponent pushing her to reach levels not seen in her before.

People can talk their asses off. That fight wasn't close. It was a good fight but the winner was never in doubt. Yall can make all the excuses for why Marshall lost and try to put a shine on it but she got beat by a better fighter and that's a fact.

Trust me, I was rooting for Marshall HARD against Clarissa. The fact is that Shields had the performance of her life against an opponent who was giving it her all on her part as well. Shields is just more skilled than Savannah. That's a fact.
