You'd think even a last minute replacement would end up being a better fighter.

Weird fight. Korte was charging forward like a man posessed without ever looking like landing anything to the point where it felt like it was a matter of time until there was gonna be a nasty headclash until round 2 where McKean landed an uppercut which slowed Korte down massively and allowed McKean to take control of the fight until the stoppage.

I can only see it with that DAZN logo blocking the shot, but looks a little suspect

Demsey McKean is a very good fighter who has height and even strength, it's a real shame that he refused to fight Hrgovic, maybe he would like to fight him now...

Maybe Filip could fight Django Opelu instead? If he does, I just hope he doesn't spit the mouth guard out to get extra rest the way Hemi Ahio did.

Django just stopped Hemi Ahio who was 19 and 0. Filip is only 15 and 0 & can't get fights.

I think Django would take his 0.

Opelu is a puny fat man shorter than Bivol. He was beaten by a 1-1 club fighter just a few years ago. What has changed? He got KOd by Browne? He KOd a hypejob that only ever beat up on the Lovejoys of the world?

    Hrgovic is:

    Taller
    Heavier
    Better chinned
    Heavier handed
    A better boxer

Not to mention that Opelu is unranked and brings nothing to the table as far as an audience goes. He can't present a challenge, he can't present an opportunity, he can't present money. It would be a huge waste of time, and it would be another bum beat down people would laugh at Hrgovic for. Imagine KOing somebody in the second round, and people laugh at you for doing so. That's a horrible thing to feel.

You're disrespecting what Django would bring. He wouldn't lie down on the job like some of these prima donnas have been doing. And he just beat a guy who was 19 and 0. That should put him in the rankings.

    I think Django takes Hrgovic's 0.

Hrgovic just had a close fight with a multi-time world medalist and Olympic medalist, and you want him to fight an Australian for beating Kiwi Lovejoy? When Australia gets a decent boxing program and somebody big there learns how to box, they can fight for mandatory positions.

I wish Australia had a good heavyweight. I love Lucas Browne. I do. But they don't.

Maybe if Australia keeps importing Han Chinese they can get a Zhang and beat Hrgovic. The great Australian strategy.
