Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. You would think that boxing fans would get that Helenius was specifically selected by Wilder's management - like most of his "opposition" since he got off the tomato can circuit about 6 years ago - because he has a bit of a name, but lacks world class skills and punch resistance. Wilder's opponents don't need to take dives. They show up with their fragile chins just waiting to be shattered.
He's my question is there not a difference between a dive and a fighter just quitting after taking a hit? Unless there is some knowledge that came out that Scott took some payment, that to me looks like a man who took a hit wasn't knocked out but didn't want to continue so he stayed down. Sort of like taking a knee on your ass.
This content is protected This is the reason some people doubt some of the Wilder's knockouts. And I agree. As for the one against Helenius - I think it's the fact Wilder was bouncing back from the ropes which accelerated the force of that punch. But still, Helenius is a fighter of a very weak chin.
I'm not sure this thread will ever get old. Nerds out with their calculators trying to claim it's scientifically impossible for a KO to happen from that punch. These are 200+ pound professional athletes we've all seen a million knockouts in our lives and half of this forum needs a professor of kinesiology to validate that a punch you could even hear was a knockout actually did in fact happen. I'm literally refreshing this thread for the ironic comedy only
If I read one more line about “His shoulder was not even in full rotation “ I’m going to put a cigarette out in my own eye!!!!
The hinge point of his momentum was 13 degrees off top dead center rendering it completely impossible to generate the power required to knockout a 250lb viking warrior
Yea poor guy made a futile attempt at imposing his will on a far superior fighter and athlete. He did what he could
That was a question, hence the question mark. As in did they leave it off the highlights? Learn to read genius.
Helenius got knocked out in one punch by the pastry chef, his chin is more suspect than the 2020 election. Wilder knocking him out is not surprising. I dont rule out corruption and Helenius taking a dive though. Boxing is a sinful sport with more corruption than the Biden regime. There is more crime being committed inside the industry that is boxing than there is in any city with progressive district attorneys. There is greater chance of a nuclear conflict thanks to the Democrat regime in power than there is of boxing being a clean sport.
And Badou Jack is listed as the number 3 contender at Cruiserweight by the WBA despite only having fought one Cruiserweight in Boxrec's top 50. Basically, the rankings of the various Alphabet organisations are designed to be taken about as seriously as Tyson Fury's latest retirement announcement.
