People are so emotional about womens boxing lol

 

They women got beat up on their home turf too..

 

Marshall's loss would be much easier to stomach if her game plan would make any sense. Instead of a war of attrition (10 baby rounds with 2 baby minutes) she should have boxed tall behind the jab and counter while moving backwards. Taking rounds by generalship and left hand activity.

Then again, she might have broke mentally. I have a feeling that there is corner to blame here as well though.

I could not have said it any better myself. Basically my babe Claressa outclassed Marshall showing there are levels to this game. I told them all that Claressa would hit Marshall consistently, make her miss and make her pay. Marshall did well not to get knocked out. A rematch does not even make sense because the ass kicking would be worse for Marshall. Skills win fights.

 

Won't have made any difference in fact it would be worse for her.

 

You just dislike Claressa Shields intensely and its nothing to do with her boxing ability. She arguably has the best skills set I have seen from a female boxer.

 

Shields knew that Marshall likes an inconsequential opening feel out round and didn't give her that luxury. She unleashed a storm like I've never seen from her before for multiple rounds. Marshall in hindsight should have accepted she's not winning any rounds till the storm subsides and rather than try to dodge the shots and fight back she should have just stuck to a long jab (where possible) and running and holding so as to not deplete her energy. But her only hope was to hurt Shields at some point and this she couldn't do.

 

Like I suspected you filled in your score cards before the fight. As Canelo would say "Get da **** outta here". " I know I know........ you are a orrible scorer of fights".
