Sometimes I wonder if the anti-Wilder fanatics are worse than the sycophants.

By knocking the living crap out of a legitimate contender in practically no time, coupled with what could only be considered one of the most courageous performances in heavyweight history (the third Fury fight), Wilder puts himself at least a solid third in the division. Joshua has NEVER shown that kind of heart or punch, and though Usyk has had a fine career up to now, he's never been tested enough for us to really know if he CAN be courageous, at least at heavyweight.

Wilder is also probably the most exciting heavyweight to watch, which is good for quite a bit.

Hate all you want, he's a top contender. He needs to aim at Usyk or Joshua next. I am convinced he'd smack the hell out of Joshua, Usyk not so much. Either way, I'm not going to miss his next fight, and I doubt even the most vehement Wilder haters here won't either.

What makes Helinus a LEGITIMATE contender exactly?

I'm anything but a Wilder fan.......

But he certainly has his place and makes current Heavyweight boxing much much more exciting.

Just have a look at this thread and the myriad of offshoots after he poleaxed Helenius.

    He certainly moves the needle.
