Most people here probably don't know much about Rafael Limon. This was a guy whose trash talk could really take it to the extreme and would even go far as to insult other fighters family members or even make references to another fighter's death or their wife's death. There was a time when he fought Boza Edwards (who was British) and he made reference to the Pintor-Owen tragedy that was recent at the time and said "That's what happens when Mexican fight the British." He vowed that he would do the same to Boza. When he fought Bobby Chacon for the 4th time he commented about Chacon's wife's death (who died by suicide) during the buildup, even taunting Bobby by saying that his wife is in hell and that's where he will take Bobby too after he's done with him. If you think Plant was taking it too far imagine if someone made a comment that was similar to Limon.
The most shocking thing about it remains that the fact that the referee became so triggered that he burst into action and tried to subdue Plant. Someone needs to tell the referee that his job is over once the fight is over. Literally what Plant did was in the Fight Night video games on PS2. 20 years ago that taunt was put into the most popular boxing video game franchise, and now that same taunt that was in Fight Night is now "going to far"? That just goes to show how soft the sports world has become in 2 decades.

Of course he definitely over stepped the mark, it's disgusting behaviour , KO'ing a man is enough! That's the payback right there for the trash talk and what have you, there's no need for that behaviour when a man is out cold with doctors around him. Low
This why boxers aren't popular anytime do anything remotely different they get villified not everyone wants to be vanilla let the guy have a personality
