Better reflexes. Better control of distance. Picks his punches better. Is faster. Doesn't have a glass jaw.

Not step in with his head in air and hands down, and let Wilder have a free shot.

Wilder’s former sparring partners have a history of putting in acting performances. Scuba Scott didn’t do as good a job as Hellenius did though.

Helenius has always been a unco-ordinated and oafish in the ring with very poor balance. It was only a matter of time before his lights got turned out.

Only movers with good feet and the ability to reset and constantly circle away from Wilder's right hand will have success.

Watch closely enough and you'll almost all his KOs happen in the same way; opponent coming in or stand in front of him for more than 3 seconds. It's how he is programmed to operate and his bread-and-butter MO from day one.

You have to be constantly moving against him or you're getting banged out if you let him set his feet.

Yep this or constantly making Wilder back up and move so he can't set his feet to throw that howitzer of a right hand.

The question is wrong. It should be: could Lovejoy do better than Helenius?

    The answer is: yes.

He accepted it in the first fight, but changed his mind in the 12 round and decided to beat Wilder from pillar to post.

Not be completely wide open. I was thinking this as I watched the seconds go by in round 1, "why is he so wide open, he's gonna get clipped", then he got clipped. Following a puncher didn't help
