I idolized Benn when I was a youngster, **** me I even bought his single!
This man was a real life Superman, to think that it was all a lie, gutted to say the least.
He's not the man I thought he once was.

No way Nigel took PEDs, you can tell almost spiritually

Name me a world class fighter with devastating power, in the 1990s era who wasn’t taking PEDs. It was more of a free for all then than it is now.

Evan Fields otherwise known as Evander Holyfield was getting them mailed to his house under his very difficult to discern fake name. He never popped, ever.

The way Benn was smashed out the ring and got back in against Gerald, looked like a man possessed.

And Nigel Benn openly admits in his biography to being on all kinds of recreational drugs during the most of his career including cocaine, which is a PED when taken just before a fight. You feel no pain. The concept that he took actual anabolic steroids isn’t a big stretch.

It doesn’t harm his legacy either, because if you were not on it you were the mug. Why fight at a disadvantage to everyone else?

There was zero knowledge back then, unless you could get your hands on Dan Duchaines steroid handbook; coffee stained photocopied paper stapled. Or unless you knew Brian Batcheldor.

    It wasn’t happening.

Benn a man possessed v G-Man? Yes, that’s mental not physical.

They won’t help you bob and weave, jab better or punch more accurately. They won’t improve your footwork. You’re simply fighting a weight heavier than you need to!

It doesn't cast a shadow over Nigel's career for me but when I see him speaking out defending his son, it makes me think less of him now.

He’s said if Conor was using gear he’d hang him out to dry.

I hope he would but he's ignoring the evidence. There's no way that ended up in Conor's system by accident and twice by some accounts.

Hold on a minute, Mike Tyson fanatics like to think that he was a clean fighter amongst a division of cheats just because he carried a lot of weight for a young teen.

It is clear he is on the gear.

We all know he won’t be hanging him out to dry over it.

Eubank Sr believes others around CB are to blame, not CB himself. Maybe they told him it was something else. Who knows..

It’s a strange thing to take though because you won’t get much benefit from it at all, if any. What you will get is an emotional rollercoaster and likely a deep depression, taking away from performance. Unless he’d already used gear prior and was taking it as a PCT. Still not all that wise, when HCG could’ve been sufficient for that and can’t be detected.

Chris's only decent income are these meet and greets with benn, so I doubt he'd want to mess things up.

Steroids increase the threshold of diminishing gains you'd have as a natural and make your body soak up the training and nutrition better. So they'll allow you to train technique longer and become a more explosive version of your natural self. Basically like the super serum from Captain America.
