Speaking as a longtime fan of both of these Kings, and I've been so a lot longer than all you Johnny come lately hipsters, it gives me a unique perspective

And FTR, I'm very open about the fact I'm batting for Team Usyk when it comes to this particular match up and unlike most if not all of you if Fury wins fair and square I will enjoy his victory as a Fury fan

But Usyk is the King and The Man by every metric and criteria you want to measure it by and the fact he annexed all the belts up at CW Level and was able to annex 3/4 of them down at HW Level in just three fights whilst easily beating the fighter in their backyard who Fury just shamelessly ducked after they called his bluff and after Fury had already ducked Usyk last year is the final nail in the coffin of the argument

The Man cannot be by default, vis-a-vis, de facto, ergo a ducker and especially not be so at the expense of the fighter they ducked.

You sadly you have it wrong. Fury has ducked nobody, if he has then Usyk is guilty for the same thing.

Fury will beat Usyk, it is a formality.

I don't ever get it wrong and if perchance I ever did there isn't a man born from their mother who is equipped to prove it

Fury is “the man”, I mean he hasn’t been beaten to not be the man, so yeah he’s the man.

    yes
that's why Usyk is rated above Ruiz
    doesn't put him above Fury

I totally see the argument for Fury beating Usyk In fact, I myself have favoured a fully fit, fully motivated Fury to beat Usyk. That said, it's clear that one person is looking for the fight (Usyk) and one person (Fury) is not.

    no.
but I rank him above Ruiz

let's see how Ruiz deals with Fury's leftovers Wilder.
the boxer Fury completely ruined in a trilogy.

keep doubting Fury. one day you might be proven right.

    I rate him #1
    in this era
    It's not a strong era
    his achievements are not amazing
but I struggling to see how Usyk's mild points decisions against someone like AJ give him so much heavyweight credit.
    I just don't see it.
if they all retired now, who'd be rated higher on a heavyweight list of all time or this era?

Because AJ is probably the HW out there right now with the best and most tested resume. Everybody knows that Wilder has giant holes in his game. He's a one trick pony and routinely looks awful before bagging it with his power. Fury beating him was always expected. AJ is a well rounded boxer with huge power. His power can bail him out, yes, but he's got actual skills to fall back on. Usyk beating him twice is more impressive than Fury beating Wilder. Usyk comprehensively outboxed AJ and took his power without problems. That's what is impressive to me.

Both are very impressive and the question of who is better needs to be settled in the ring. If Fury is in top shape and well prepared, I would favor him by a decision if the fight was accurately scored. But I would not be surprised at all if Usyk won.

If is 50/50 until they fight. Fury needs to make this fight happen or he's going to look very bad.
