I think what Fury did to Wilder is more impressive.
Wilder is a one trick pony but it works for him.

I can't remember the last time AJ knocked out any boxer who wasn't at least 39 or 40 years old, so maybe his resume is overrated?

let's see how post-Fury Wilder does, even as age 37, against post-AJ Ruiz.
hopefully we get to see Wilder v AJ but I doubt it.

Isn't it fair to say both need to make the fight happen? In the above scenario, if it doesn't, it'll imply guilt only to Fury even if the reason is not with him.

    Most recently:
Usyk comfortably beat a guy twice who had wins over 6 different top ten opponents (and 3.5* world title holders) in 22 fights
Fury won a trilogy with some major scares against a guy who had wins over 2 different top ten opponents (and 2 world title holders) under his belt in 42 fights.

Fury has the lineal claim from beating Klitschko nearly 7 years ago, but there has been a couple hundred pounds and a couple of retirements since then.

    * Martin is the 0.5

Why do people think fury is the man ? Cos he beat bum wilder ? AJ had more names and more belts so yes he was the man and now usyk is the man

Imagine you're The Daddy of the four wings of your prison then some tiny little guy half your size comes in and takes control of three of your wings

Fury is the lineal heavyweight champion. Isn’t that basically defined as being the man at heavyweight?

He appears to still be active. Uysk needs to beat him not be anointed due to 3 fights at heavyweight.

I can see it too but I just know Usyk has what it takes, both physically and mentally, to cause him a lot of problems and anyone who thinks he doesn't DKSAB.

    Yes that's undeniable

For Fury to truly prove himself...I believe he needs that fourth fight with Wilder and the two more with Chisora and then he'll be there. Usyk can't do anything to stop him.

By Fury's standards Usyk hasn't fought a banger yet. Wlad + Wilder x3 + Price at 17 >>> Joshua x2 + Gassiev. Fights from 2011-2013 when a 22-24 year old Fury was chronically underestimating overmatched opponents and taking flash KD's from swinging haymakers before knocking them out mean little. It's about as relevant as Usyk being dropped at least twice or three times in the amateurs/WSB in 2013 and before.

Usyk has fought more prime bangers, and I mean ones who can actually box and fight, than Fury has snorted lines of coke, not unskilled one-trick pony dossers and 40 y/o senior citizens

Usyk: AJ, Gassiev, Breidis, Chisora, Majidov, Nistor, Joyce, Glowacki, Bellew, Huck, Hunter

And he's never been dropped by any of them

Fury has been dropped or badly hurt multiple times by complete featherfists with hideous KO%

What's your excuse for this one, eh?

Fury ducking both Usyk and AJ tells you the whole story. Fighting Chisora as well.

Of course it's Fury. Usyk has just beaten mentally broken Joshua.
Usyk would lose to Fury, Wilder, Joyce at least. It's Fury without a doubt.
    Fan boys are crazy.

    Usyk has already beaten Joyce.
