Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3 confirmed

Just an odd fight to make all round. The first two fights we,re conclusive plus chisora has looked finished in his last couple of fights. At the very worst this fight could have got approved 3 or 4 years ago when imo chisora was the best hes ever been. But defo not now. Any half decent name would have done bearing in mind its a tick over but not a guy we,ve already seen him beat conclusively twice already.

People we,re genuinely struggling to stay interested in a wilder third fight. Let alone a chisora third fight.

These careers are being wasted nowadays. Bearing in mind they spend the first 20 fights fighting nobodies. Then when they do start fighting names....they use six fights to fight the same two guys. Silly stuff. Joyce, bakole, hunter, hrgovic, dubois, ruiz, ortiz. Anyone half decent would have been at least somewhat more interesting than chisora.

 

I will not watch it

The AJ fight is ad irrelevant and uncompetitive as this

 

They are starting to become to Queensbury what IFL is to Matchroom.

I just cannot get my head around the "we needed to get Tyson out". He's not a 6-0 amateur!

I guess what we don't know is, how many of those names would be willing to fight on Dec 3 for an amount of money that also guaranteed Fury what he wants and pay the other bills? If Dubois can't get an opponent because there's no money in it then it's quite possible Fury suffers from a similar problem. Most of the names above wouldn't draw flies.

 

Probably true bob. The thing is we,re being told furys the biggest draw in the division etc. Bigger draw than joshua....who fought lesser names than that and still sold out etc. Fury is big enough to fight a smaller name if they promoted it well. Looks like laziness from frank. Will just get a name thats known even tho we,ve seen better versions of them lose conclusively twice already.

Even with fury i understand your trying to maximise your earnings etc. But when it comes to the stage you need to fight the same guy 3 times that no ones really interested in to maximise your earnings....should it not be a case of its not really a smart move to maximise our earnings this time. We get they fight for money. If your talking about no money for say dubois and millions for chisora. Fair enough.

But we,re talking about probably saving on a half decent advertising bill. I actually think with a decent promotion and one of them names they could earn more than pretty much little promotion and chisora.

Just a lazy fight to make. I actually like chisora as well.

These top guys should be able to get anyone in the ring at any time imo. Their the draws of the division afterall.

 

The clever thing with this Matchroom can’t slag the fight off because Chisora is one of them. The weak boxing media and everyone that’s been in bed with Kinahan will fall in line. There will be little opposition in the sport.

 

This isn't PPV is it?..........Seriously, they wouldn't do that would they?

I noticed BT Box office on the poster. PPV for this? Are they paying us to watch it?

I mean Whyte was bad enough, but this? As much as I like Del, if he wants a retirement pay day, just set up a Go Fund Me, I'd gladly chip in. Just don't make us watch Fury batter you and make us pay for it.

 

Hearn already got around that one - "not his promoter but as a friend we'll advise him" etc.

 

Can't help but think this is partly a reason to get Dubois out on the cheap too. He couldn't headline with that fight.
