The amount of people that are slagging the Fury v Chisora fight, but peviously viewed Fury v Whyte as a world class super fight are guilty of double standards (considering there is very little between Whyte and Chisora.)

Whyte was a mandatory. Chisora was hand picked despite losing 12 times and Fury already beating him twice.

Whyte beat Chisora twice plus top fighters such as Povetkin and Parker. Whilst only had one loss to AJ.

Chisora best win is Takam (who granted is underrated on here).

Never mind what about Whyte. It's a **** fight and it deserves slagging. End of.

The only two meaningful fights and proper tests out there for Fury is Usyk and Joyce - the rest are simply cannon fodder with not much between any of the rest.

Chisora, Whyte, Joshua, Parker and Ruiz types are all mediocre at best with no elite skills.

Missed out when Povetkin buried him in Hearn's back garden.

We'd never seen Fury and Whyte across from one another in the ring........ and Whyte had been on the WBC "waiting list" for a hell of a long time.

We've already seen Fury and Chisora go at it twice with the same result twice. The 2nd fight, Fury dominated in what was actually a bit of a borefest. So can you blame anyone for rolling there eyes at an unnecessary 3rd fight?

I mean he's lost 7 fights in his last 15, two from Whyte and even one from Agit Kabayel. He's been a journeyman for a while now, one that is well loved, but a journeyman never the less. He's not exactly knocking on the door to world titles any more.
Even though I wish him a happy retirement as I like him, the thought of this being PPV is absurd.

    2011 Fury v Chisora 1 Live on Channel 5
2014 Fury v Chisora 2 Live on Boxnation
2022 Fury v Chisora 3 Live on BT Sports Box Office

The first fight at least had a bit of intrigue about it being a British Heavyweight Title fight live on terrestrial TV where it belongs now we get one sided pony on Box Office 11 years later.

Whyte has actually legitimately won the odd fight in the last few years.

Whyte's nickname is Daffy since Povetkin planted him in the Matchroom HQ Garden

Missed that. Yes a top HW in Povetkin beat another top HW in Whyte who avenged it in the rematch.

How can you compare Fury fighting Whyte to Chisora ?

    1. Whyte was WBC mandatory, Chisora is a voluntary defence
    2. Chisora has about 15 losses with 7 losses in his last 15 fights. He has been beaten by Whyte twice.
    3. Fury has fought Chisora twice already and won comfortably
    4. Whyte has beaten some top fighters like Parker, Povetkin, Rivas, Helenius, and Chisora himself. Chisora's best win is Carlos Takam and he is coming off a very lucky win against a 41 year-old shot to death Pulev.
