I've always welcomed activity from Fury, I'd just have liked to see a less lazy, cynical choice of opponent on this occasion.

People give him a hard time for Seferi and Pianeta, which is completely unreasonable considering he was rolling off the couch from an extended period of self-abuse.

They give him a hard time for Schwarz and (sometimes) Wallin, forgetting that he was only a year on from rolling off the couch from that extended period of self-abuse, upon which many observers had opined that Fury would need to take it steady and recover his strength and sharpness against a whole string of Seferi/Pianeta-like opponents before risking a dangerous assignment like Wilder, only for Tyson to boldly jump in the ring with the Bronze Bomber at the first available opportunity.

I don't agree with those who castigate him for those bouts, but I do get why people are rolling their eyes at this one.

 

Hopefully Chisora lands a big one on him and knocks him out.

How in the **** are we in a position where Wilder is lining up better fights than Fury?

They arn't good fight. MOST FIGHTS arn't good fights. They are filler fights. Boxing is business.

Nobody will care if Usyk is ringside jerking off and they stare off in 4 weeks time after Fury has nutted in chisora. Suddenly a bad fight looks like a great marketing tactic.

 

It'll be free on ESPN+ and I still won't watch. It won't even be in the top twenty best things ESPN+ shows that day.

 

But even the casuals in the UK know this is a joke fight that is being talked up by a fighter that is looking more like a joker every day. He is insulting his fans, casual or not.

Wilder 4 may happen but he won't fight in February, we can bet on that. Warren also said he will fight Usyk next and then Joyce, but we can bet that this won't happen too.
