Absolutely bonkers ticket prices. Fury probably wants so much money, it’s the only way they can cover it. I wish he just stayed out the ring and waited for the Saudis to pay up for Usyk. I said on here it would sell out by fight night, but I didn’t realise the prices would be so ridiculous..
Think they really didn't think this through. AJ @ his peak never fought in a stadium in December. Cold weather, an unfavoured opponent and high ticket prices means they could have a lot of empty seats.
This event is going to be a huge flop. Who wants to sit and freeze in a stadium in December ? Will not be surprised if one of the boxers is injured and the event is postponed.
Dunno. Been at Spurs in December for an evening game and 90-100 minutes outside wasn't too much to ask - given most people ignore the undercard, sitting outside for an hour is probably about right. The concourses keep you busy enough in that stadium. No idea why anyone would want to be out on the pitch for £2500 though.
Given this fight is a blatant money grab anyway, I have no issue with them price gouging people with more money than sense. If people are going to support this fight, which encourages these kind of wank opponent selections, we should all be glad they are paying through the nose to do so.
Did Wazza even make money with the Whyte fight? Gotta feel for him if he never. Poor bloke shouldn't have backed Tyson.
Every single thing about this fight is ridiculous and Tyson Fury and his team should be embarrassed. Chisora lost in his last fight and was given a gift, even Hearn basically admitted it in the ring afterwards. If you're getting a dodgy split decision win over someone like Pulev you're not going to pose any threat to a World Champion, an undefeated World Champion. An undefeated World Champion that you've already lost twice to. An undefeated World Champion who you've already lost twice to and since the last fight, 8 years ago, your record is 13-7 and most of the 13 were knockover jobs. I hope the fight bombs, it's an absolute disgrace.
Is David Haye still involved with Chisora in some way? It wouldn't surprise me if he had his greasy mitts in organising this if so.
The thing is, if Fury fancies it he could knock Chisora out in the first round.. He's going to carry him and get the decision, I mean this is Del's farewell fight surely?
no. I don't think so. might have a small piece, who knows. but I've mentioned this several times before : Chisora's official manager is: Anthony Joshua MBE aka Tony Dosh
so AJ won't be fighting this year at all but he'll be taking his fee for Dereck taking the beating. it's a cash grab all round.
