Post pandemic, tickets for any kind of sporting or music events are like gold dust. I wouldn't buy this fight on PPV but if I lived in London I'd probably pay 50 quid for a ticket.

It's the way for promoters to get all the money they're advertising for the event without giving anything directly to the ticket seller. Also potentially creates a competitive market where the ticket seller actually pays the promoter for the rights to sell them (see Matchroom using StubHub and then moving to another similar partner later).

Ultimately the fans get stuffed.
