Joshua not as chinny as folk say interesting you have him above Joyce Noel also unsure about Gorman he looked very weak against Dubois from glancing blows maybe not got the heart

Fury, Joyce, Joshua, chisora, whyte, Dubois, Gorman

Joyce looks solid but gotta put fury top for being in there with bigger hitters. The rest was hard but I’d put Joshua above the others though he looks vulnerable he’s never been sparked like chisora or whyte, and whether klitschko was 41 or not that shot he dropped Joshua with would have kipped the other two. With the other two it’s hard to say they haven’t fought as big hitters though Dubois chin look pretty robust (stoppage against Joyce different thing to chin)

Fury, Parker and Ruiz equal, Chisora for his old days, Joyce because of yet to be tested against top opponents and punchers.

I know what follows: "Fury's been dropped, so his chin isn't great, it's his recovery". Then tell me, what's the point of having an iron chin and a sh*t recovery as in the heavyweight you can be shaken and hurt - if you don't recover good... Chin and recovery goes hand to hand. Better "be dropped and recover like a miracle" than "great chin, but once down stays down", isn't it?

How many power punchers and top opponents did Joyce face so far?

Furys is the most tested, it's held up against Wilder however Joyce reminds me of the terminator !

    Joyce
    Fury
    Chisora
    AJ
    Dubois
    Whyte
    Gorman

Fury’s a funny one, he’s been put over numerous times so he can certainly be dropped fairly easy but it’s his powers of recovery and heart that set him apart. Amazingly AJ possibly takes the better single shot out the two but then he seems to do a Bruno and freeze up. For me he also quit against Ruiz so that’s a big question mark for me. Whyte has been brutally one punch ko’ed 3 times now, and looks very vulnerable. Chisora has lost nearly all his punch resistance through age and tough fights. I can’t criticise Dubois for taking a knee against Joyce, yes it’s a quit but it may have saved his career. Gorman has shown nothing to suggest he can hold a big shot and Joyce at the moment looks like Frankenstein but I still feel he’s a knockout waiting to happen at elite level…

    Joyce
    Fury
    AJ
    Dubois
    Chisora
    Whyte
    Gorman

Joyce - hasn't even been rocked yet.

AJ - Only been dropped by two opponents despite fighting some of biggest punchers in the divison.

Chisora - proven durable chin fighting all the top guys in the divison. Been dropped by Whyte, Parker and Haye.

Fury - dropped by Pjackic , Cunningham and mutiple times by Wilder. Rocked/hurt by Pjakic and Wallin.

Whyte - dropped by AJ, Povetkin, Parker, Fury and Rivas.

Dubois - stopped by Joyce but is largely untested.

Gorman - stopped by Dubois but largely untested.

Joyce has the best chin by some distance. Dubois and Parker hit it clean enough times and didn’t do a thing.

After that it becomes tricky. Fury can be hurt but has massive heart. AJ takes a shot better but panics. Whytes is cracked fully. I suspect Chisoras is too and he will get flattened.

Fury's chin isn't great, it's his level of recovery that is.

I'd even go as far as saying Joshua has a better chin than Fury but his ring IQ and levels of recovery once hit are a lot lower.

Do you think those powers of recovery are trainable or is it just pure will?

A lot of Fury's early career knockdowns, were more the result of complacency and flash KDs.

He genuinely got hurt by Wilder but got up everytime, so I'd say he has a very good chin.
