    Can't really say I'd want Liston inside my house. Louis and Ingo are welcome though. Louis can show up any time he damn well pleases. If he lets me know in advance, I'll have a steak and a beer waiting for him.

    If Sonny wanted to be in your house though, and he’s with the other two, How you going to turn him down?

    Sonny looks like the kind of guy who could be a bit sensitive if you seem happier greeting Ingo and Joe than with him.

    But then there is always the nightmare if Ingo and Joe left to go home from the party and Sonny decides to stay?


    … He’s the last guy left. And he’s stopped talking.

    Lots of chat about how horrible Sonny was in here.

    Sonny was definitely not a nice guy - assaulting a police officer, breaking legs of small time crooks and small time debtors for gambling.

    But Joe Louis, there are accusations of him violently assaulting women and using heroin.

    People are always so selective over what - or rather who - they will hold their noses over on here.

    I think during his tour of the UK Liston made a lot of friends and was said to have enjoyed himself. The photos of him in Scotland especially.

    What a tart, loads of boxers were involved in crime, would you not speak to Mike Tyson either? Sonny Liston would be by far the most interesting character to ask questions too such as why he dived against Ali etc, what kind of choir boy would turn him away because he was an ex criminal

    That menacing look that Liston gave me sure woke me up from that Anesthesia, that nurse saw all that, especially the wink as he was leaving, and he just bolted out of the room, it was pretty scary.

    Coming out of that Dumpster is Cleveland Big Cat Williams, he got tossed upside down by Sonny Liston twice, once in 1959 and 1960.

    Tyson Fury and Usyk show up at the get together, Fury asks who is this little trick or treater with the Big Ears? referring to Ingo. Joe Louis says to Fury, Careful He Might Land His Bingo On Your Head. Usyk asks Sonny, Has Anyone Ever Told You What Big Hands You Have? Liston says, The Better To Gobble You Up With.

    Louis was what he was Sonny was what he was. Neither were good but one was clearly worse then the other.

    Yes, I agree, woman beaters are the scum of the earth and absolutely among the worst people who walk the earth.

    Clearly Joe Louis had a more objectionable character than Liston, who targetted only men and usually criminal ones or armed ones.

    I’m not defending Louis for doing what he did it’s putrid. He wasn’t always that way from what we know though and by his mouth he blames the drugs but that’s up to you to believe, I don’t know nor do I approve.

    Liston was who he was till the end and never redeemed himself or fell from grace because he had none. I’d let a good man who historically did good things and made some mistakes into my home before a mob pet who only brought trouble into this world.

    I have to ask do you think Liston never did anything as bad as roughing up his girlfriend and using heroine? I remember him impersonating a police officer and pulling over a woman? I don’t know what that was about, Correct me if I’m wrong.
