Is it crazy to think they take turns knocking each other out? Peter never knocked out anyone elite but Shavers chin wasn't elite, or anywhere close. Peter had a good chin but Shavers had otherworldly power. I call this a 50/50 fight.
I think Peter was the better fighter overall but Shavers has a chance thanks to his power. The difference here is their chin. Prime Peter was very solid, whereas Shavers is much more iffy.
It's because whenever one boxer becomes a popular topic of discussion, someone goes and bumps half a dozen threads with their name in the title. Herbie Hide has suddenly become a topic of interest so now the 1st page of the forum has multiple bumped Hide threads. I told the mods about this once or twice and it's annoying but that's on them if they are going to do something about it. As for the thread, I could actually see Peter winning if he can survive the early storm. He would need to jump on Shavers early and keep him on the back foot, Peter was like a cap buffalo always moving forward. However, Peter was not invincible and did get stopped a few times. If Shavers manages to drop him, anything could happen. It would be quite the shootout with both guys throwing heavy leather from round 1.
