    Who would win over 12 is immaterial. There is no way Smith makes it to the second round.

    In all seriousness is there anyone here (besides that Turpinr guy who would probably pick Charlie Zelenoff to beat Dempsey) who actually think Smith wins this? Why even bother with a thread?

    I think this is potentially a competitive fight H2H. The guys Dempsey fought by in large were no bigger than today's light heavyweights and not particularly exceptional ones either. Tunney is really no bigger than Smith in terms of ring weight.
