Joyce has been laid out cold in the unpaid ranks. It will happen again, especially with his age and lack of defence.

I think he's a vile person. Was no different when Jurgen or Safin slagged AJ off on every post they made or Matchroom. Nobody seemed to bat an eyelid at them...

The improvements in Joyce have been there for all to see, he's a completely different animal now

How so? He was eating shot after shot in his one but previous fight. He's got literally no defence. His speed hasn't improved and neither has his power.

    Where's the improvements?

    Beat him in the rematch.

Wlad nearly had him out and he laid him out. I see that you always pipe up but convienetly leave these things out.

Doesn't matter if he beat him in 30 rematches, he still quit in the first fight which is what I was responding to when someone said he's never quit in a fight. Never said he didn't beat him

Wlad let him off the hook massively too. He was very fortunate to get away with that.

But why does your point count for something but him beating Ruiz immediately not? He was able to right his wrong. Least give the lad that.

Because the original point was 'Joshua has never quit' when he clearly did in the first Ruiz fight, not rocket science  yes he righted his wrong but I'm not talking about him getting beat I'm talking about him quitting.

I don't think he did quit. He was all over the place.

Most fighters dedicated to their craft will improve with age and only begin a decline once biology cruelly does its stuff. A decline can be accelerated by not looking after themselves outside the ring and being in too many wars. Joyce is improving and has improved massively. I shake my head when people bring up fights from years ago and compare performances without considering the context. Heavyweights tend to peak in the mid 30s. They're bigger, slower men and they develop their ring IQ as they get older.

Fighters physically and mentally change over the years. Wilder was getting put on wobbly legs against Molina and Szpilka...this version would deal with both versions of them with ease now cos he's physically and mentally a much more improved fighter.

So what if Joyce was chinned in the amateurs god knows how many years ago, it has no bearing on the now.

How has Joyce improved exactly? Be specific and cut the waffle.

The first bit of your post was a fair question. However, there's no need to be disrespectful telling me how to reply back.

Look at the CV. He's stepping up through the level of opponents he's facing and learning more and more through that experience. His jab has improved in my opinion along with his footwork. I thought he was superb against Dubios the way he was negating DD's dangerous right hand with his jab. I thought he showed some real ring savvy skills in that fight and broke Dubois down. He wasn't reckless in that fight and frustrated DD. I also think he's varying his power now as well and picking the shots better. Knocking Parker out like that was very impressive.

He ships punishment and certainly isn't the fastest but the question was if he'd improved and he undoubtedly as imo.

Everyone talks about Dubois like he's Mike Tyson. He hasn't amounted to Squat, and if he loses his next fight he's basically done. A prospect that has been retired.

I do boy see any new tricks added to his game. He's getting sloppiet if anything.

Still loads of time yet for DD to develop. That was a big learning fight for him where he now knows that his right hand isn't enough. He is sloppy but I think he is capable of boxing more intelligently than that. He is a knockout waiting to happen. You see these lads who rely too much on their chin like that Kownacki, they get found out eventually.
