Yes it does. The championship distance is 12 rounds. When the bully cowers behind his guard for 6 when he finally comes up against a kid who can fight back then he's pretty much forfeited his right to a decision victory. Only method of victory at that point is knockout.

In a boxing sense? Somebody who takes chances only when the risk is minimal. Somebody who bullies fighters who are overmatched in size, technique or physicality, but cowers against a fighter who can actually fight back. A frontrunner is somebody who beats up on men who can't do anything about it, but turns into a docile little beagle when the other man is a bad mother****er.

Did you decide to invent a label just for boxing? A frontrunner by any definition is an extremely good thing.

You will come in here and talk about how Loma is at a size disadvantage. Which is exactly my point. Hes a bully. He prefers overmatched opponents.

mikey would have stopped him. too big, too strong, too good, at 135. i always said loma could be tamed if you took away his angles, and that you could do that by pivoting with him to always keep him in front of you. something mikey does textbook. and something teo did to take those angles. he wouldnt be able to come straight at mikey, his timing is too good, and hes too stubby to beat mikey from the outside.
loma is a great talent that is handicapped by his size and dimensions when he goes in against the best at 135. he belongs at 130.

I have to hand it to you, you Loma haters find new excuses to hate him no matter what he does. So we are clear, you hate that he’s not a face first slugger who gets hit to beat a bigger opponent? How is he a bully, because he’s a smart fighter?

Loma fights bigger guys every fight these days and is not afraid of anyone. He fought Lopez with a badly injured shoulder. You don’t have to believe it, look at what happened in his next two fights after his shoulder was repaired and recovered. He made no excuses and beat two tough guys. He’s one of the smartest guys in boxing and never needed a gift decision or corrupt judges to win a fight. Meanwhile guys like Tank Davis have never fight a legit opponent in years. Guys like Crawford and Spence find a way to avoid eachother or fight lesser opponents and still wind up on the PFP list. Loma is one of the most courageous fighters and best fighters of this generation. I wish more guys were like Loma but guys like him are rare. Usyk is the only other guy who has the same attitude as Loma.

If you don’t at least appreciate the professionalism, intelligence and commitment Loma demonstrates in every fight, you are not a fan of boxing. Canelo showed how tonight it is to beat a bigger skilled opponent when he was dominated by Bivol. Loma does it every fight. Lastly, a healthy Loma would have schooled weak minded Mikey. The fight was there for Mikey but he chose to move on and fight bigger guys he had no chance of beating for the $$$.

A big/huge one most of the time

He's the complete antithesis of a bully

Shall we do a Loma vs Beterbiev comparison?

Or Loma vs one of your other favs Kovalev?

Because it really won't end well for you

Was Lomachenko a bully when he fought Orlando Salido (who had 50+ more professional fights along with 20 more lbs) in his 2nd fight?

He bullies, taunts and punishes smaller and overmatched fighters. He doesn't like it when the other man can fight back.

Beterbiev is no bully. Look at round 6. He's not afraid of a man who can hit hard back.

@tinman whenever I read one of your posts of this ilk it does make me wonder if, for a pastime, you tether yourself naked to a tree, scatter a number of birch branches and hang a sign saying 'do your worst'...
