How much coverage/listners does talksport reach?
Would the average casual fan see how sneaky and sly matchroom have been covering up the Benn situation?

How much damage is Talksport inflicting on Eddies reputation?

Talksport guys have made a lot of sense to me and Eddie should be very embarrased with the way he has dealt with the situation lol

Hearn even admits that he talks a lot of bullsh*t in this interview:

Eddie is very socially adept but he's not the brightest. Why say things like "I talk a lot of bollocks" or "12 weeks wasn't enough time for us to prepare for Fury" or "Whyte was up at 9 against Povetkin" or "Demsy McKean is a top 10 heavyweight"? These kind of statements are self-discrediting unforced errors.

Well given Hearn targeted the casual market of football fans through IFL and social media. Then I would say a lot.

Talksport's programming is not really for fans of boxing. It's for those same football fans who like a good **** up down the pub or at sporting "events".

In fact when talksport first started it was aimed at the casual glory supporting football fan, not actual fans of the sport in any real sense.

I guess what I'm saying is, they know their target audience...

let's face it Talksport is thousand times better than IFL.
IFL decided to sell out a long time ago & avoid even the feeblest attempts to scrutinize the likes of Hearn in any important matter.

It is not better. It is a different texture and colour of ****

I don't watch either, unless there is an interview of some merit. Which is rare for IFL as you say, but pretty much non-existent on Talksport.

Plus, IFL's intro makes me hate humanity lol

Whenever I have been pointed to a talksport interview, it generally involves an interviewee saying something patently ridiculous or false and it being allowed to slide (the same things people dislike Hearn and IFL for). Simon-whatever-his-name-is carefully framing leading questions, pretending to be hard hitting, then ignoring when a "friend of the show" doesn't actually answer the questions. After successive skirting of the question and friendly banter. They move onto the next "telling it how it is" carefully worded question. Then everyone says, look at them telling it like it is, we need more interviewers like this in boxing. etc. etc.
It's a sham. The very definition of access media.

I remember someone on here was mentioning Boxing King Media. Haven't watched much of them either, but they are a breath of fresh air in comparison to Talksport and IFL.

It's not talksport it's Jordan, I listen to it daily and he is currently drilling Hearn and rightly so, the cowardly move of Hearn going onto talksport with Mccoist and Woods and not Jordan and White says it all, he knew he couldn't stand the heat from Jordan and was testing the waters.
That reminds me it's starting now.

Simon Jordan at Talksport is doing a great job speaking his mind and getting people to think against certain biases. The Whole Conor Benn/Eddie Hearn situation is just the flavour of the month, I'm sure they'll be other controversies with other boxers & promotors that'll he'll be talking frankly about too.

This will make him quiet a powerful character in the boxing world soon because people aren't as naive as they used to be and will want unbiased views rather then propaganda filled BS that we've been getting up to now

We're living in the post truth era

They'll just deny it, he'll sit on the sidelines for a year or two, then he'll be back

    Unfortunately so

Similarly mirroring politics, talking about boxing is becoming our team, their team. I doubt it was by chance

I would like to think there is bi-partisan agreement that Hearn has overstepped a line here, though
