Crawford just doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Bob. The time to make this fight is now (maybe another 6 months) and then its no longer what it was before.
Crawford is getting shafted. If you are working with no guarantee you need some line of sight over the costings, or you are massively exposed. He needs to sign off on some of it. Clear as day he has a shocking team around him. Shame Al didn’t sign him up

Don't buy into the narrative that fighters aren't scared. They're all scared. It's just a handful are honest about it. Mike Tyson said he was "scared to death" before fights. Naoya Inoue, apex predator/most violent man in boxing, said that he is always gripped with fear after the first round. First round is feel out. Second round is when the fight really begins. Without a question Spence is terrified of Bud.
Yes obviously every fighter is scared but neither guy seems that afraid to get in there with each other. I think it’s just the business side screwing this fight up, but if anyone is scared it’s bud. Spence has been fighting good boxers and getting belts back to back while Crawford is just fighting lower level opponents and leftovers.
