Another thing that pisses me off with Eddie is when he says the BBBofC made the right decision to call the fight off and they would never have gone through any other boxing board to push the fight through. When on the day the failed test came to light Eddie was saying the fight was still on and they could look to put it on through other boards if BBBofC were to call it off. He obviously got told by DAZN or lawyers that he couldn't/shouldn't go down that route
Of course MR were leaning on them in their typical passive aggressive approach. To most people, a trace amount means if you tested them a few hours/days before they would be showing up with a higher amount. Talksport are right to point out there is a systemic failure. If there are any adverse findings they need to be flagged in a public forum.
You could see when they called the fight off the language used regarding due process and all of the sh*te. Clear as day they have the legal time and finances to strongarm the board. Makes you wonder what has happened previously. Hearn seems most annoyed the news got leaked more than anything else.
Matchroom fighter fails VADA, bung the oppenent and extra what ever k. And you know the oppenent is clean.

A few questions regarding the whole contaminated supplements and the two failed tests in July and August. If he failed a test in July and suspected it was contaminated supplements, why didn't they double down and not use any non-tested supplements after that point? Why take the risk? What are the chances of two lots of supplements being contaminated with the same compound, i.e. clomid? Surely they have a record of all the supplements he has taken, batch codes etc. All they need to do is speak to the manufacturer who should have samples from each batch, which could then be tested to see if there is contamination? It would never just be one bottle contaminated, it'd be whole a batch. Why not have the supplements tested as soon as the July test was failed, which you'd surely do if you suspected contamination? Please answer all the above Eddie and Conor.
Well the thing is if you recall we had a similar case with Billie Joe Saunders who failed a VADA test but passed his UKAD. Or was it UCAS? No that's for universities isn't it? I never went myself. Unless you count the university of life haha. No but seriously further education is important and we should be doing more to lower tuition fees so that all members of society get a fair shake. Do you like impressions? I do a cracking Eubank.
He might have cycled a few months in advance to bulk up and used clomid for pct. Most likely scenario is that his gear was contaminated with clomid. As the powders are made in illegal labs in China. If I was a fighter I'd only touch micro doses of testosterone, hgh, insulin and maybe epo (don't know much about this, but I think it's a naturally occurring substance as well). Designer gear is too risky, like when dullian got caught with something contaminated with dbol, and I think Jon Jones got caught with something contaminated with tbol. Also ben johnson the sprinter got caught because they thought they had some undetectable designer steroid but it was just winstrol with a different label lol.
Not disputing what Jordan says. I just don't buy into the whole "must go on the Simon Jordan show". I like listening to Jordan but whether Hearn or Benn go on there is kinda irrelevant and doesn't change the optics of the situation.
Serious question-who here has done an official drugs test? I’m ex army then spent years working offshore etc. I’ve done shed loads of these tests. I’ve never ever heard of anyone having their test contaminated let alone two in the space of a couple of months. these are serious tests and extremely thorough so I imagine sporting drugs testers are even more thorough.
