Unbelievable how fickle fans are. All top level athletes are capitalising on pharmaceuticals out of necessity. Occasionally some balls up their protocol, or don't maintain their "charitable donations" to keep the suits in order. For the people laughably arguing that anti-doping governance is effective, ask yourself if this is the first time in his career that he has sossed, and if Clomid is the only one item as part of his protocol (ffs).

I can add that I know of top players from both La Liga and Serie A getting blood transfusions to be able to perform better. The skilled athletes have doctors employed who measure how many performance-enhancing drugs/pills the person can take without exceeding the limit.

On the market today, there are performance-enhancing substances that can only be detected 3 hours after consumption.

Wasn’t the point that you’d have to eat 30 eggs a day on average for the clomid to show up in your system at a detectable level if they came from a chicken dosed with clomid? The interviewer framed the question that way, though I agree he isn’t the sharpest tool.

 

The farts that would occur from consuming that many eggs a day would be lethal!
