1-Prime Joe Louis 2-60's Ali 3-Steward era Lewis 4-prime Liston 5-Wladmir Klitschko 6-Holyfield 7-early 80's Holmes 8-early 70's Foreman 9-80's Tyson 10-Usyk . These aren't set in stone, but that's generally where I have them. You can put peak Frazier anywhere from 9-10. Foreman and Holmes are pretty much the same level overall but I didn't want the list to be confusing with two names in one spot. Lewis and Liston are close. Ali and Louis are two of the best at their respective styles (mover, boxer puncher). Vitali can be anywhere from 10-15 due to sheer size, chin, and work rate.
Are we talking h2h matchups or h2h rankings? If we're talking h2h rankings I would probably pick anyone from the last 25 years to beat anyone from previous era, with one or two exceptions. As far as h2h matchups, my dream list would include: Jack Johnson vs Jack Dempsey. Riddick Bowe vs Mike Tyson Marciano vs Liston Primo Carnera vs Johnny Ruiz. AJ vs Wilder. Sorry classic but I am going towards the big boys here. This isn't a greatness list so p4p ability is only relevant if I think it allows them to often beat much larger men. So it's have to be guys I have evidence beating much larger men. Ali Holyfield Tyson Wlad Vitali Holmes Lewis Fury Louis Bowe Not in an order. I know including fury is controversial. Again this isn't a greatness list it's a h2h against the whole field of heavyweights of all time. He has great physical gifts and has shown himself able to beat big punchers as well as technicians and those tough littler guys like wallin and Cunningham. He doesn't have any obvious stylistic weaknesses ATM so that is probably influencing me but this is my list rn.

How are you doing your H2H rankings to leave out Ali, Louis, a young Holmes, a young Tyson, etc? Saying "in the last 25 years" gets you Emanuel Steward trained Lennox Lewis for the top of your list, but leaves out more than "one or two" other guys who would definitely be at the top as well.
