    1. It's not Logan Paul. It's Jake Paul.
    2. Woodley nearly beat him in the first fight and didn't train 1 day for the second fight.
    3. Spider Silva is old and still did okay. I think it was a good win for Jake but there is still no reason to act like he just beat Adesanya.
    4. No, the UFC is not dead. She's clearly booming.

None of them were part of the UFC and not their best fighters when they were wheeled out by Jake and paid them extra not to hit him too hard.
the current best fighters around 185lbs in the UFC are Whittaker and Izzy. Would be a bad night for JP if he did go against either.

The UFC had its strongest ever year for average PPV buys last year while Jake was beating Woodley and Askren and making Dana White diss tracks. In the long run its not hurting the UFC at all nor is it helping boxing at all.

I'm a mma/ufc fan and Jake Paul is making the ufc look a joke. Yes he is picking mostly smaller older fighters in a boxing ring but Jake Paul himself was nothing but a silly youtube goof with ZERO combat sports/boxing background. ZERO. He is a youtuber. I don't care how much bigger he is compared to the fighter (Silva was at least as big if not bigger than Paul) they should be embarrassing him. These guys were elite mma champions where punching/boxing is a major part of their games. They are/were used to dishing out and receiving punishment at the top level and now they are losing to a youtuber with ZERO boxing background. It's like Pewdiepie taking up boxing and calling out Dom Cruz and koing him. He did to Tyrone Woodley what Tyrone often did to mma fighters in his prime. KTFO them. These guys wre not 60/65 yrs old. Woodley was mid 30's and Paul beat him twice and highlight reel ko'd him.

I realise these guys would also embarrass Paul in a mma ring but Paul being able to win in a boxing ring and turn Woodleys lights out does show them to look stupid imo.

Paul will probably also beat the ufc journeyman Nate DIVA Diaz because his boxing has always been garbage.

Without a doubt it makes the ufc look bad. Dana must be hating this but he won't admit it because he does nothing but lie.

No. If you brought a 40 year old Canelo to a MMA match without training, he would lose.

Hes been training boxing for the last 5 years. JUST boxing. Hes probably training boxing more hours a week than MMA guys do, and MMA guys train it as part of their overall MMA game which changes it in a bunch of ways that arent beneficial in pure boxing competition.

Woodley was pouncing on people with 4oz gloves while they tried to figure out if he was going for a takedown or not.

I think there's some truth in this. An absolutely ancient Holmes beat Butterbean, who by no means was a great fighter, but was a dangerous huge puncher, much younger and had real boxing experience. I know he beat him at his own sport, unlike these guys who are being beaten in boxing, but at least Tyron and Silva train boxing. Why can't these MMA guys beat Jake Paul? Their boxing is just ****.

Because hes training specifically for boxing for years and then cherry picking guys who are old/smaller/on the downslide/not stylistically suited to boxing/all of the above.

Training boxing for boxing and boxing for MMA are not the same either.

But would he lose in a mma bout against a youtuber
But who would he be fighting in mma ? If he's fighting a youtube goof who has trained mma for 4 yrs or so and has never fought a legit mma fighter then I would still say Canelo brutally ko's him im mma.

On one hand people are saying Jake Paul is garbage but then on the other hand they are saying he should be beating these former elite level mma fighters with his hands.

I say Paul is just journeyman level at best in boxing and mma fighter are quite rubbish in pure boxing skills.

To all the people who say the Diaz DIVA brothers have great boxing and spar with Andre Ward who rates them I say you are wrong. They are crap at boxing and Andre Ward is just being polite. I presume these idiots will be predicting Nate DIVA Diaz to embarrass Paul with his elite boxing ? It will be funny watching the average Paul fight the Average DIVA Diaz. Very low level boxing to watch.

So Woodley,Silva etc have not also trained boxing as part of their skill set over the last 20 yrs or so ? Paul also has NEVER fought an actual boxer. NEVER. Before these former ufc fighters he only fought a former nba player and another youtuber. This is embarrassing for these former mma legends.

That shows the overall boxing level thia guys had, and how overrated yhe whole UFC and MMA is.
Hell Beock Lesnar become UFC Undisputed with very little background and training. He start losing cause of his bad injuries, but expose "elite" UFC level.

Ah yes, its totally impossible that a "Youtuber" who has drilled takedowns and grappling pretty much daily for 4 years could possibly take Canelo down and submit him easily.

Jake would most likely be favoured to be Canelo in an MMA fight right now for ****s sake.

He was a division 1 national collegiate wrestling champion.

Some of you guys are astoundingly clueless.

Yeah in the 90s and early 00s, he had amateur wrestling degree. But still he was a WWF Wrestler, and he debuted like what 2008 in the UFC?
In my gyms there is boxers, kickboxers and MMA guys. Like 90% of the MMA guys i spar with, have dog**** boxing. It's mostly wild haymakers or trying to go into wild exchange. Their footwork is terrible, their feints are terrible, their set ups are terrible, and of course their upper body movement is bad. And to be fair most guys in the UFC are the same.
A lot of quality is missing, because most of the martial artist are sticking to their martial arts, and won't chase a sporting career, especially trying to prove a point in UFC. Same for Boxers and so. They will just stick to their sport.

And it's the UFC fighters and commentators that started this debate. I still remember that Danna Whyte was hyping Cigano and how godly boxer he is, and how Junior Dos Santos would have beaten Wladimir Klitschko back in the time. Then Connor talk with Maywheater, and the latest with Fury and Ngannou.
So i'm glad that this s**** youtuber is exposing how s**** their stand up game is.
Should we even mention the hype about Ronda Rousey, and how great of a striker she was? :D
