Could Mitch Blood Greene troll his way to a title shot if he were fighting today?

    I thought his trolling of Mike Tyson was brilliant! Way better then anything Shannon Let's Go Champ Briggs could ever muster (although I did enjoy him chasing Wlad on a sailboat, that was pretty classic)..

    How do you think Greene would go after the big 4 of today's HW division?

    I do know one thing, if he insulted Tysons manhood and sexuality, he would have a field day with AJ.
    I'm sure he wouldn't take kindly to Fury or Usyk either.....(you know what I'm talking about)
    And he'd probably call Wilder a fake toughguy/ studio gangsta.

    What are your thoughts?

    An interesting sidenote about Briggs, he actually yells out his phone number during one of his Let's Go Champ rants. I have it saved on my phone, I've never called it, I have no idea if it's still good, but if anyone wants it lmk

    No I don't think so he had the height and was durable, but he didn't really have much punching power. I don't see him beating any of the top 4 today honestly, although he'd probably go the distance due to his durability and knowing how to survive.

    The question wasnt could he beat any of the top guys, it was could he land a title shot by simply running his mouth and hounding these guys and insulting their manhoods

    Then no he fought Tyson when he was a prospect, he doesn't have the style to force title fights and his outside ring antics wouldn't be enough. The difference with Briggs is that he had power and an exciting style, unlike Green who was a spoiler.

    Another possibility if he were a young man today would be trolling himself into these weird Youtube "celeb" fights.

    I could 100% see Green fighting youtubers and former NFL/NBA/MMA guys and getting a lot of hype/press because he loved to run his mouth.

    He seems like he could of been picked as a defense for Wilder at some point if PBC signed him, which is not a given since Green was......unpredictable/difficult outside of the ring.

    If you haven't seen his interviews do yourself a favor and take a trip to youtube. Guy could sell himself and is an all time great at toothpick control

    Green was no doubt a talented fighter, but he will now always be remembered as the gang leader who got beat up by Mike Tyson. TWICE!! LOL

    But yes, I think he could get a title shot if he was in his prime today.
