If it's 60/40 for Bivol then for heaven's sake don't place a bet on a Bivol victory. He's currently a -550 favorite. If you truly think Zurdo has a 40 percent chance then that +340 moneyline on Ramirez looks way too good to pass up. Put your money where your mouth is.
Bivol is proven and didn't need to pad his record. Zurdo has compiled a nice record without ever fighting anyone of note during his 13-year professional career. The biggest name on Zurdo’s resume is former middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, who was well past his prime and fighting outside of his natural weight class when the two fought in 2016. Bivol will jab his head in and pepper him with shots to a UD, possible KO.
Bivol gives him a boxing lesson. Zurdo is massive and strong but so slow. I don’t think he has the footwork to make this the fight people are expecting. Bivol is versatile and prime. Great fight though, and I look forward to seeing it.
I'm going to make a bold prediction here, Bivol performs very well against southpaws. His pinpoint straight right is even more frighteningly accurate. So I actually think he's going to stop Ramirez in the second half of the fight.
