So you're a hater if you don't watch his fight vs Avenesyan? He literally says that, at the end of the video :risas3:.
However I don't really see how he could sign to fight Spence without a guarantee? That's the bottom line. BS what he said about Ennis and Ortiz.

    Charlo vs Hurd
    Spence vs Thurman
    Spence vs Crawford

    Benavidez vs Plant
    Charlo vs Benavidez
    Charlo vs Lara
    Mikey vs Loma
    Floyd vs Paul Williams

So they wanted Crawford to sign up with a guy he didn't know who obviously had ties to Haymon, that's Don King level BS, like when Don would get fighters to sign up his son to be their manager.

Crawford had an offer from a rival hedge fund for $25 mill each to make the fight which they refused. I get why Haymon would say no to that, with PBC struggling to find a new backer the last thing he needs is his fighter fighting for a new rival. But in the end it's Spence team that seem to be blocking the fight.

And yes with Crawford agreeing to no guarantee and the smaller end of the split, it's clear he's made compromises on his end to make the fight. It's more than reasonable that he ask for some transparency, that's just common sense.

I'm not interested in either of these guys careers unless they fight each other. With any luck Ennis and Ortiz will take over.

I think he does want the fight. What is clear is that he has zero business acumen, and a dreadful team around him. Haymon will be promoting the fight, not a hedge fund. Haymon also works for Spence so his job is to get the best possible deal for Spence, not Crawford. And Crawfords next fight will tank so badly how he thinks this will strengthen his negotiation remains to be seen.

He has shot himself in the foot. Whatever is said about Al Haymon the one thing that cannot be said is that he cheats fighters. Crawford has crossed a line!

He is not being truthful in my opinion. He knows Spence is a risky fight so he wants to make some more money first. Don't see how BLK Prime make a return on their money if they are guaranteeing Bud $10 Million but good luck to him and them.

Miguel Vazquez might disagree with your opinion of Al Haymon. There's a picture from June 2014, where Haymon's lead henchman (Sam Walton) and another gentleman pose for a photo with Vazquez to commemorate his signing with Al Haymon. Three months later, Vazquez's four-year title reign ended via a questionable decision to Mickey Bey, himself a Haymon fighter. Based on optics, it's clear to me that Haymon had no problem screwing over Vazquez in favor of Bey.

I forgot to mention one detail about the photo: it was taken inside of a Mcdonald's.

As much as I'd like to see Crawford vs Spence, Bud is smart to proceed cautiously in negotiations with Haymon.
