Must have. With them & with Foxtel / Main Event. It makes sense for all concerned. Foxtel / Main Event money can deliver the big fights & they need a presence in Victoria to promote the sport. And if Timmy & Michael Zerafa don't win their fights against the big guns, plans need to be in place to keep the sport ticking over. Tszyu v Zerafa is a logical fight at Middleweight with or without world championships at stake.

Tszyu v Charlo in January followed by Zerafa v GGG in March will be great for Australian boxing.

Good to see Zerafa checking that No Limit ass licker shill Ben Damon at the presser.
I agree with Zerafa's opponent though about the GGG fight he really should be pre booking his bed at the ICU

I don't mind a road trip down to that part of the world. Although I usually hang a right at Violet Town & head to Bendigo. I think the Victorian government offer big incentives to put on events in regional centres. We might see Triple G v Michael Zerafa in one of the B's.

Nice little write up in today's Tele, the local rag in Sydney.

Ranking Australia's Top 50 boxers, male and female.

Of course any rankings are going to cause disagreement and the writer seems to not know some of those fighters have retired or are inactive.

But its great to see a lot of local fighters getting some coverage. He did a good job.

GGG going Foreman and fighting the Horn brothers back to back on the same evening would be even better.

Zerefa is a decent fighter, he may end up with a better legacy than more rated Aus fighters.

I wouldn't dare compare it to great panel of 4.

That journo can't help but backslap. FAB 4 been telling it like it is on Aussie boxing since Moses was in short pants.

Just read it. Bought a copy on the way home on the strength of your recommendation. Was surprised the guy actually did a decent job. Didn't read the comments, the print is too small for my eyes these days, but he did a decent job with the rankings. I would have rated several guys a lot higher based on potential but if that's not what his list is based on, then okay. In saying that, he didn't have George top 3. Going Undisputed & knocking over one of the top guys P4P in his backyard automatically puts him there. He's ahead of Jason Moloney.

I can confirm that the Fab 4 still rate the Kambosos kid as number one in Australia. Until his accomplishment is matched or beaten he is number one in these parts of the world. That could all change if the Tszyu kid beats Charlo he will take the throne. The Opetaia kid is number two.

Huni vs GGG would be more entertaining. If Gallens (with a rib cartilage issue) performance v Huni is any indication, KO win to GGG...
