All it shows is that a poorly balanced novice can find himself on the canvass no matter how tough his chin is
That never happened. Both were standing stoppages which were stopped due to the amount of clean shots he was taking, not because he was getting hurt/dropped. Joyce has only touched the canvas once in his entire career and that was against Kuzmin.
Um Joyce admitted he was getting rocked by Joshua. The other KO he suffered as a amateur doesn't have any footage but the ref isn't going to stop a fight just because a guy landed 1 good punch on you and you showed no damaged from it. Joyce was clearly getting hurt or dropped as a 27/28 year old amateur. Putting fat on his stomach now doesn't make his chin better. This is like saying if Tommy Hearns decided to move up to heavyweight his chin would be better because of the extra weight. Even if you don't believe Joyce chin is glass he clearly doesn't have world class Oliver McCall, Marion Wilson, George Foreman, ect level chin.
Joyce only has 15 fights as a 37/38 year older. Tons of pro fighters could say they weren't knocked down in their first 15 bouts. If Joyce would actually step up in opposition and fighter somebody who isn't old and broken down like Bermaine Stiverne or somebody who is on the downward slide of their careers like Joseph Parker then Joyce would of been dropped and stopped.
How do you know that an athlete hasn't been ingesting HGH? The so-called pound for pound king, Alvarez, brazenly walks around with HGH growth sites on his abdominals.
Joyce has a very strong resume for only having 15 fights. Parker isn't on the downward slide, there was a clear improvement between the two Chisora fights which happened last year. Why didn't Dubois drop and stop Joyce? Very big puncher and landed clean bombs.
He said he kept getting hit with big shots and that's why they stopped the (Joshua) fight after three standing counts. I've seen the Beguerni fight and he again got three standing counts cause he kept getting hit with clean, hard shots. Never got wobbled or dropped. Chins can actually improve with added size. Joyce isn't fat, he's very lean for being 270 lbs. A solid 30 lbs heavier than he was back then and most of it is muscle. Much sturdier. George Foreman's chin looked better in his comeback than it did in the 70's. He was a lot heavier during his comeback. Joyce does have a world class chin.
Yeah he beat Joseph Parker who who is on the downside of his career. What a resume Joyce has. He has the best resume of any fighter or any weight class in boxing history right? Chisora loses all the time. Chisora got destroyed years ago by blown up cruiserweight David Haye but you think Parker beating a old Chisora is impressive ? Dubois is a huge puncher because of what? Who did Dubois knock out? It is like saying Tye Fields or David Rodriguez were huge punchers because they had really high KO percentages fighting low level opponents. It is hard to explain stuff to biased people so I will stop trying to explain it too you.
Parker beat Ruiz, went 12 with the likes of AJ and Whyte and has a solid chin. The fact Joyce was the first to stop him while Parker threw everything he had at him is an incredible win. This is coming from someone who was very critical of Joyce before the Parker fight. The only boxers I think are capable of cracking his chin is Wilder, possibly AJ. If that means a weak chin to you then I'm not sure what you'd consider a good one.
Joyce also got KO'd in the 1st round against an unknown crap Algerian fighter called Hamza Beguerni, in the preliminary round of the 2013 world championships. Someone needs to find that video! I remember seeing it at the time, but can't find it anywhere online right now.
You do realize Parker is fading right? You do realize Chisora a guy who isn't known for being a big puncher was able to drop Parker? It is like a person saying James Toney is a harder puncher than Lennox Lewis because Lewis couldn't stop Holyfield and Toney was. Joyce wouldn't have stopped Parker from 4 or 5 years ago. Ruiz has never been and will never be anything special. Ruiz beating Joshua shows how bad Joshua is and not how good Ruiz is. Ruiz barely got back a old broken down Chris Arreola for crying out loud. Dillian Whyte is nothing special. A old beat up Alexander Povetkin put him to sleep in their first fight. So Joyce beating up a broken down Parker doesn't mean anything and have nothing to do with Joyce's pretend granite chin.
Parker fought Ruiz, Whyte and Joshua when they were in their respective primes. The knockdown Parker got from Chisora in their first fight was a flash knockdown that didn't hurt Parker at all. Parker has also shown gradual improvement, and is only 30. Discredit it all you want it's a good win from a highly rated heavyweight.
And so is yours… This is what you’re doing and ignoring valid context Yeah you don’t understand what I’m saying. Dubois and AJ fought tomato cans. Daniels kos of said tomato cans were more one punch concussive knockouts than AJs. Daniel is absolutely comparable heavy puncher to AJ, the evidence is watching his fights. He hits hard. You still haven’t refuted my points so as far this goes you’ve just repeated what you said before ignoring mine and everyone’s else context . Does Dubois not hit hard? Did Dubois not hit Joyce cleanly several times? That’s evidence of someone who does not have a glass jaw You don’t understand what amateur stoppages are do you?
