Really comparing two fighters where one has a fanbase of 13-18 year old fans who would probably beg their parents to buy a DAZN PPV or subscription, and the other has a fanbase where only the most hardcore of dickriders would actually pay for the PPV. The rest would watch it on Instagram or TikTok not knowing how the internet works.
Depends on what market / who you are marketing to… Tank got urban pop market & hardcore boxing market on lock Ryan got the casual social media fans & “Latino”/ Mexican-American fan base in droves. so yeah it depends on how that all translates into actual PPV sales.
I'll say what a lot of people don't like about Tank, since you're too scare to. It's his opposition level. He's had a title for a number of years and never once fought the best in the division.

Tank is popular among Floyd groupies, a certain racist sect of America and pretty much no one else. He's ugly as a pug, has no class and is plain stupid. There's very little in the way of his marketability outside of his ability. Ryan on the other hand has the boy band looks, the flashy speed and power that he markets expertly on social media and of course the celebrity connections through his social media presence. It's not even a contest on terms of marketability.
