Hey everyone, I am starting a second division to my prediction league. This one will cover only the bigger fights in the sport. I haven't put together a full schedule yet, but figured since there is a nice fight this weekend, might as well start now with this one. So for whoever wants to join, its simple... just tell me your predictions for the featured fights and I will keep track of your record throughout the year in the big fights. First featured fight is Bivol vs Ramirez, so who do you think will win, and how? (KO, UD, SD?) Cheers.
Bivol will move and throw jabs until he gets comfortable with the size difference. After that he will mix in straight rights and looping punches in effective combinations while maintaining range and lateral movememt to a comfortable UD, possible KO10. This is essentially the entire Bivol gameplan on any given night and no one has cracked it yet.
A heads up : In order to get a KO with your win on your record... you need to pick the method of victory properly. So KO/TKO, or UD, or Sd/MD are the options. If you get the right winner but not method, you get a win without a KO.
I've always wanted to participte in the league but missing many of the lower profile fights made it seem more like participation to me rather than competition. I think I'll enjoy this league a lot.
