I agree. It's nice to see an actual plan B from a fighter because what did earlier in the fight clearly wasn't working. He's won the last two rounds now and if he keeps this up, he wins this.

I wouldn't go that far. He waged war with Román González and went out on his shield after being beaten up and overwhelmed. But he is a quite middling contender, and has passed his peak at that.

 

Yafai is done as a top-level fighter, especially against power punchers. Fortunately for him, Paclar is neither a top-level fighter nor a power puncher, so looks like he'll get off the hook.

 

His future is definitely dim in world class terms.

He took the Choco fight because he thought Choco was done, was one of many who didn't take the Inoue fight when he was still in super-flyweight, and now against Paclar after getting knocked down and rocked several times he's gone to the patterned mix of "body-and-nuts shots". Sorry, to me that's grade-A down-the-checklist ***** behavior.
