Ach, the best bit about that was the 10-15 seconds before it where Bivol was playing possum on the ropes, giving Zurdo a wee carrot, and then boom! Sweet!

Loma would have 6 losses instead of 2. LOL. Nah, I think of this as well. Or if Golovkin had come to the US 4-5 years earlier.

Ok am I crazy or not?

Did Zuro land one clean power punch in the whole fight? I can't say I've seen one flush shot from him.

He landed his cross well here and there. Not frequently enough to turn rounds.

I'm grading on a curve. Loma was Jesus to many on this forum.

I would agree that he has been overrated. Which isn't to say that he isn't very good. It's just guys went a little cuckoo over him.

His sheer dominance at 126 and 130 had alot to do with it. He is now fighter biggers fighters than himself and remains a top talent.

Look, this isn't really the thread to get into it, but I'm not as impressed by the competition as others here have seemed to be. Which isn't to say it isn't largely respectable and the best available to him out of a generally middling crop. Your mileage may vary, and that's fine.

Had Lomachenko remained at 130lbs, his ideal weight, he'd be on a short list of the very best to have campaigned in that division over the last 30-40 years.

Missed this fight but the outcome doesn't surprise me. Zurdo was all smoke and mirrors.
