I would say zurdo disappointed.. looked slow, gangly & cumbersome.. but I think part of it is Bivol is just that good... made him look average , i think he's a very solid fighter who just met a special one tonight... had it 10-2 Bivol.. hes a lock for FOTY now ..

 

Bivol exhausts his opponents with range control. He forces heavier and stockier opponents to constantly move and be in the 'hit or be hit' range. Implied and actual pressure for almost every second of every round.

 

imagine this for a super six tournament... Kovalev, Bivol, Ward, Stevenson, Beterbiev & Gvozdyk...

 

I don't really enjoy watching Bivol fight, pedestrian rounds with the occasional flurry, not my cup of tea to be honest. No denying he's a fantastic fighter, however i'll be supporting Beterbiev when the fight eventually happens.

 

If Zurdo had borrowed just one of Aidos Yerbossynuly's testicles, he could've given a respectable account of himself tonight.

 

forget about Clenelo ....Bivol and Artur. think Bivol will win this one. not easy...but a win.

Zurdo is an absolute turd of a fighter, that’s all we can take from this bout.

 

They would have moved more slowly, fought less styles and if they were lucky they would be exactly where they are.

 

What does Bivol have that Beterbiev will have for trouble with? I think Bivol has a chance, but a very small one. People need to recognize the world of difference between Canelo/Zurdo and Beterbiev. Beterbiev should be the overwhelming favourite.

 

Another masterclass from Bivol, against undefeated, young and in his absolutely prime contender. And he is winning at least 10 rounds, just like in the Canelo fight.
LHW division level is insane. We need to see Beterbiev vs Bivol next year, and see who the god at that division is.

 

Bivol’s far superior defense and speed. Zurdo just couldn’t get anything going.
