Always loved Smith, always hated Eubank. Imagine my joy if Beefy can beat him. I’d rather not take that chance though because Eubank is all wrong for him. If they were the same size Beefy wins this every day of the week as he is a much better fighter but size matters. Smith has a good chin but has been hurt to it by Munguia and the Russian. I think Eubank would be slightly too quick in the exchanges and hurt Smith. I couldn’t handle this defeat but at least it’s a fight to look forward to.

How I see it too mate. Like beefy good honest pro not the most physically gifted but has worked hard and does the fundamentals well. I just worry Eubank to big, especially if he goes back to his seek and destroy style. If he starts arsing about trying to be Roy Jones it’ll be easier. Still think he’s in it like and makes Eubank work hard for it but like you say all wrong for him

I have said it before, maybe I overate him a bit too much but I genuinely think if he had more power he’d be up there with the best. I think the main factor against Canelo was he didn’t care what was coming back at him so could take one to land one. Smith was well in that fight technically. He couldn’t miss on Munguia all night with super clean shots that if he had more power would have ko’d him. That was a time when he was being tipped to fight Golovkin.

I think he’s good at varying his shots and is tough as anything and a horrible fight for most. I suppose at the stage in his career he won’t care if he loses it’ll be a very good pay day for him after being neglected by Hearn for years just like fighters like Luke Campbell. Seems he bends over backwards for his favourites but misses a trick with quality fighters like these.

Why though? Will he deserve it?

He’s been at super middleweight for years. He’ll be fighting someone coming up from 2 divisions below as Benn was coming up too. Why can’t he fight someone his own weight? As someone who’s achieved nothing in his career and lost convincingly when he stepped up he should be after fights that can prove he is what he says he is. He has plenty of money he’s earned from his dad’s name so he should be willing to earn less to prove he’s part of this blag warriors code he’s never proved. Fighting smaller men because it’s less risky and a good way to win and make money because of the names of them does not deserve respect in people’s opinion.

Great fight, looking forward to this one. Can’t beat a domestic dust up. Seems like I’m in the minority but I fancy Smith in a tight points win.

Good fight but I think people are seriously underestimating how much the charisma of Eubank will have an effect on the fight.

Where’s this supposed to be? Manchester? I break up for Christmas on the 17th. I’ll defo have to try for a ticket. Shame where Eubank is involved though, the insta muppets snap them up and the touts have their ways of clearing most of them up as they know the insta muppets will pay through the nose. They must get a picture of themselves being there.

Boxing, and sport, is part of the entertainment business. Eubank brings entertainment. His charisma is off the charts and he's always been a terrific boxer who has looked to fight the best. But alas, he has been terribly avoided.

You'll see a difference in levels when he faces Smith. All of the excuses will come flooding out. Too old, fight's left him, injured, struggled with the weight, too small, punch resistance gone, blah blah blah.

Just enjoy Eubank while he is around for he is a generational talent that has been underappreciated.

    Terrific boxer
    Looked to fight the best
    Terribly avoided
    Generational talent

Eubank is none of those things. If he had a different last name he wouldn’t have even had half the career he has.

I only watch his fights or interviews in the hope that the Sheriff makes an appearance.

I could make a strong case why both men could win it. So in otherwise, I really can't pick a winner.

    Are you gay? Charisma!? Wtf!?

I don’t think Smith is past it at all. I think there’s a good chance he loses the fight but being past it won’t be one excuse I’ll use. Who’s avoided Eubank? Who’s he tried to fight? Connor Benn 3 weights below who’s fought nobody at his own weight? A generational talent hahaha. Wow. A generational talent!? He hasn’t got one good win to his name. Wtf is with you mate.
