This, but if Victor's vision is obscured by a bloody cut a brutal left hook could end this viciously

Bob jabs Victor's head off and maybe stops him. As tough as Galindez was,he was n't going to beat a prime Foster.

When Foster came over here in 72 to fight our own Chris Finnegan, I finished work early one day and went to a gym ( in or near Carnaby street ) to watch Bob work out, its funny but when you are close to a great boxer there is something in the air, its tangible, but hard to explain, about half hour after arriving Foster was ready to spar ( oh yes ) tingles went down my spine, sweaty palms, then the great man stepped into the ring , him and the partner got gloved up, and put on head guards, Fosters man put a thick layer of grease on both cheeks, patted Bob on the shoulder and sent him out for the 1st round.

Right here we go I thought, but no Foster didn't really show anything for about 90 seconds, the partner was jabbing and cuffing the great man at will, WHAT ! then it happened, up from his knees came a very stiff jab that stopped the guy in his tracks , followed by a short right, then a mother and father of a ( you guessed it ) left hook, spun the poor chap full circle, headguard facing the wrong way, then a inglourious fall to the mat , his days work was over, they carried him back to the corner, doused his head with cold water and guided him back to the showers .
    stay safe Rich.

Victor's WBC counterpart,John Conteh would have given Bob a closer fight.

Chris Finnegan gave Bob Foster all he could handle, not out of the question a prime John Conteh could of done one better. Would of been a beautiful jabbing exhibition to watch regardless.

I have to agree Stevie G. John Conteh was more of a boxer with a crushing right hand, he took out Len Hutchins in March 1977 with that right hand in round 3, it took Victor Galindez 13 rounds in Dec 1974 in a title bout for the vacant WBA title after Bob Foster's retirement.
