Hide is simply better than Parker

    That is a possible scenario.

I’m leaning towards Parker but in truth I’ve never been fully able to discern the exact level of quality with either of these two guys.

Parker is so underrated. Guys like Ruiz and Rahman weren’t really above his level. Hide wouldn’t finish.

Going with hide. Parkers just not that good imo. Like maybe he is on his best day, but that day seemingly came and went long before he was lucky (imo) to win the vacant wbo belt against Ruiz. Lately he's looked dreadful.

Hide is the value-for-money bet here, I think.

Parker has fallen flat at world-level, in my opinion, which means he and Hide are not that far apart, in terms of class. This is doable for Parker, but I just favor Hide's pre-Bowe conviction to be enough to upset the New Zealander.

I agree. Yes if you look at his highlights when he had blazing fast combos, of course it looks like he overpowers hide. But that was against limited opposition. Anytime he's fought someone who was capable of hurting him he reverted to a very negative style, going for single counters stuff. I think hide hit certainly as hard as Hughie fury

Parker’s only so so to me but he’s a decent technician with a pretty solid chin.
Hide is ridiculously overrated on here, Parker has enough about him to stop him before half way.

    1. Parker beat Ruiz, who is a good fighter who hits hard. Chisora isn’t the easiest task either.
    2. Hide never beat anyone good and got knocked out in his big fights.

    Parker by UD.

Hide never beat anyone of note. Parker would be cautious but take the decision.

Yeah I have to kinda agree with this. Having your best win against Michael Bentt plus losses to two journeyman doesn’t make for much of a case.
