Valdez's stock had already plummeted before he knocked out the weight drained and COVID stricken Berchelt and then plummeted once when he was caught using PEDs and schooled by Conceicao. Valdez was given zero shot at beating Stevenson.

And if we can guess the results of Inoue's fights so easily, then he shouldn't be considered.

Gilberto Ramirez was given no shot of beating Bivol outside of Mexican fans, and even then there was just a handful, even though he was undefeated and would come into the ring looking 20-25 pounds bigger.

And if we can guess the results of Inoue's fights so easily, then he shouldn't be considered.

Nonito was authored highlight reel KOs before and after the first Inoue fight, so yeah, Donaire was not equal to Valdez, He was resurgent while Valdez had become a joke. Robson had fought no one and was an unknown, but did school Valdez.

Only a handful of diehard Clenelo fans picked him to beat Bivol. GTFOH, little boy.

What threat? Very few people gave Ramirez a shot despite the fact that he would be significantly bigger...

Haney's entitled ass thinks it definitely should be him

Both he and many of his vile fans are going to cry how unfair it is when they give it Bivol

I'm mainly talking about prior to Bivol beating Canelo before people realized just how good he really was. At the time people thought Zurdo would be competitive with anyone despite his thin resume.

The vast majority of people knew how good Bivol was even before the Clenelo fight, but especially after the Joe Smith fight. The biggest knock on Bivol was that didn't have big power and he doesn't go for the KO. The skills and ability has never been in question.

Inoue will finish it with a body shot after Butler retreats to the ropes in high guard - which is what he seems to do after circling and pot shotting from the very edge of his range. Think of how GGG vs Macklin ended. Like that only sooner...

High probability of this happening. I want it to go late, though. I think the Butler fight previews a Fulton fight in styles matchup.

I'm talking about casual fans that didn't know too much about Bivol. Many hardcore boxing fans that have followed Bivol him since beating Sullivan Barrera were aware of his skills but many still didn't think that he would have been able to beat Canelo since everything was stacked against him going in. It's only now that everyone is recognizing Bivol as the real deal ever since he beat Canelo clearly.

Inoue = brutally KO'd a resurgent lethal-punching ATG and becomes undisputed

Bivol = schooled the P4P #1 and exposed a fraud

Roman = decent win over Martinez and Estrada III looming

Inoue beating Nonito and Butler doesn't compare to Bivol beating Clenelo and Zurdu

Haney beating one-hit wonder Kambosos sure as hell doesn't warrant it either

Shakur beating Valdez who clearly lost his previous fight to Conceicao doesn't either

Sure he beat the real champ Conceicao in his next one but he didn't even make weight and he punched him in the plums all night

Bam-Rod has the best shout outside of Bivol but he struggled badly in his last fight

Bivol beat the P4P king who else on that list beat someone in the P4P top 10? Schooled him

You can make the argument that Bivol is bigger than Clenelo but then you have to hold Haney and Shakur to the same standard. Bivol weighed 3-5lbs absolute max more than Clenelo whereas Haney is way bigger than Kambosos and Shakur looked a lot bigger than Valdez too

Cuadras and Rungvisai were shot humanoid shells running on alternative fuels and piloted by hamsters.

Won't object if it goes to Bivol, but I got Inoue by a single highlighted pube. Donaire's a proven ATG with one of the most vaunted left hooks in history and came into the Inoue fights w/ 2,000 ton balls of steel and confidence. Butler is diet slick white chocolate who may surprise.

Cuadras gave P4P top 10 ranked Estrada a very tough nights work in his previous fight. Granted it was like 16 months or so before and he hadn't fought since

SSR had only officially lost once since 2014, to the same Estrada

Sure it might be a case of Bam-Rod catching them at the right time and I don't follow the leprechaun children sized divisions as closely as I do the heavier ones but maybe Nonito got old over night at 39 y/o against Inoue and the later hasn't even beaten Butler yet

And Kambosos was clearly just in the right place at the right time when he won the belts
