Ducking the current #2 P4P Japanese Thunder Inoue A win over Inoue is literally the biggest and best fight out there for him and it would catapult his career through the stratosphere That's what I'm talking about and what you're all talking about now Smoke detected, smoke not wanted P-But ran towards that smoke at breakneck speed even though everyone warned him he was crazy to do so and that it was a suicide mission Fulton ran away from that smoke with Japanese Thunder at breakneck speed I keep telling ya'll we Brits are built different And what about the unification with Akhmadaliev?
"A petition filed by the unified WBC/WBO junior featherweight titlist to next compete at featherweight was unanimously approved by the WBC Board of Governors on Wednesday during its convention in Acapulco, Mexico. The ruling also confirms plans for Fulton to face Brandon Figueroa in a rematch to their terrific clash from last November, this time with the interim WBC featherweight title at stake." This dude ran to the WBC like y'all got to protect me!
In a dream world MJ vs Fulton happens and the winner fights Inoue. I knew it was too good to actually happen. Boxing in 2022 is painful.
2023 isn't looking too good either. MJ will duck Inoue as well. Champions literally jumping out of the water before Inoue has even gotten to 122.
Well that sucks. He said after the Roman fight he wanted Akhmadliev and then either face Inoue next or move up. Well neither of those fights happened, though Akhmadliev has a mandatory and is injured so that explains that, but why not fight Inoue next year then? After Inoue beats Butler and moves up he will have to wait til Akhmadliev's hand heals and has fought Marlon Tapales his mandatory, so we might not see Inoue/Akhmadliev until summer or maybe even late 2023, which sucks.
Damn what a disappointment. Was really hoping to see Fulton face off either MJ or Inoue in the future. He was also supposed to be the mandatory guy for Inoue to face after he beat Butler. I wonder if this is some kind of tactic for him to gain an even bigger size advantage if he and Inoue were to ever meet in the ring at some point.
“He is good but if you take away that power, would you still consider him as good?” Take away Inoue's power and all you're left with is elite technical skills, pin point accuracy, exceptional timing, an iron chin, heart of a champion, and killer instincts.
