40 years ago one of the most memorable fights of all time took place. You have 2 of the best fighters of their time involved in a battle of the ages. Alexis Arguello and Aaron Pryor made history with a fight to remember. Both fought at such a blistering pace with sustained action in a 15 round contest. The opening round tells you everything you need to know about this grueling affair. You have the highly technical boxer-puncher against the relentless swarmer, a match made in heaven.

One of the greatest bouts in history and it needs to be revisited.

When I see the perpetual motion that Pryor was it reminds me how much I'd have loved to have seen him get his hands on Floyd Mayweather

First thing that comes to mind. And clouds his win.

All I can say is that both Arguello and Pryor would have cleaned out todays 135 and 140 pound fighters. These guys were a different level.

Give me the bottle, the one I mixed. Pryor, nothing but a damn cheat. He gets no credit for that win.

I dont believe there is a substance which works that fast. Any drug needs to get into the blood first. Not enough time between drinking and hurting the opponent. As much as Panama Lewis is a bad person, i dont believe in the conspiracy in this case.

Luis Resto who Panama Lewis took padding off his gloves in one of his fights allready has outed Panama Lewis.
What Panama Lewis was giving Aaron Pryor throughout his fight with Arguello was crushed asthma pills mixed with water.
According to Resto who was the beneficiary of such treatments from Panama is that it would open your breathing tubes right up when he was winded and gasping for air.
Panama Lewis and Aaron Pryor cheated Alexis Arguello of making boxing history, there is no doubt about it.
