Every movement of Adesanya has to be as melodramatic as humanly possible like he's imagining himself in some sort of anime. Or, "taking pictures" as Teddy Atlas would say.
Not even close to Wilder power imo. Dude cut close to 50lbs for this fight and they looked a division apart in there... Izzy isn't some granite chinned tank either and was taking his punches fine until that exchange and he was stopped on his feet. People that stand up to Wilders power for over 20 minutes usually have a weight advantage on him. Would take an atg chin for someone shorter and lighter than him to go 20 minutes imo.
Dudes a Frankenstein. Walks forward as the bigger man getting pieced up until his size and power make their mark.
How do you think Wilder would do dealing with low kicks, takedowns etc. why is everything this boxing vs. everything else hyperbole?
I knew this was a dangerous fight for Izzy, he needed to mix it up and take it to the ground, it was gassing Pereira out when he got it to the ground but of course he Tries to close the show against the MOST dangerous puncher he's fought in the UFC and it cost him. I'm glad Pereira won tho, I can't stand Izzy, he's too prissy. Lol
I was re-watching fight and I think those body punches in he clinches , all 4 rnds , might have slowed Izzy down. Those where hard thudding punches he was landing when they clinch.
Oh ya I get that and I agree... I just don't get how that full transition transpired without Izzy scrambling away or trying to tie up.
