I would have thought that if Fury & Usyk can get the deal done for Feb/March like Egis Kilmas has said is already completed from there end then IBF will allow it.

But the window is going to be small!

As Usyks manager said it's a done deal from their side and Fury should agree to fight Usyk from February to early march.

We want Usyk / Fury, not this.

I'm not overly concerned for this reason, I think the fight has been agreed for a while.

They might even announce it before the Chisora fight in order to get it over the line.

No, as you can see, even the fact Fury called Usyk for December, this doesn't stop the fang*ys of Usyk still blaming Fury for the potential fail of the unification. It was expected - the Ukrainian holds four titles, so a mandatory defense was obviously coming and Pusyk knew it. And while Fury has his crappy fight in December against Chisora and Wilder-Ruiz is yet to be scheduled, he still has the possibility of fighting Usyk in March 2023 despite the mandatory WBC defense, but it's getting more complicated for Usyk.

The federations must allow a unification fight and cancel the mandatory defenses, but I don't know if they'll do.

Usyk-Hrgovic is not a better quality fight than Fury-Chisora III.

Pusyk is lucky in a way - got the weakest title contender for the IBF, he could've had Dubois (WBA) or Joyce (WBO). As for the IBO I think it's Lerena, but he's busy for December and I think he's better than Hrgovic.

Hearn states he has a "written order" from IBF - can he confirm if that "written order" is "in the proper format" and there're no problems with the deadlines? :D

Agree with all of that except i'd rather see Usyk V Hrgovic every day of the week and twice on Sunday over a pointless 3rd Fury V Chisora encounter

The two bums fighting over a bag of pruno under the bridge is a better fight than Fury / Chisora 3.

Hrgovic is hopeless at the top level. One of the most overrated boxers.

Hopefully Fury and Usyk get their fight signed and tell Eddie where to go.

It's funny how Hearn is suddenly keen on Hrgovic for Joshua all of a sudden lol.

Pretty sure Sauerland and Hearn are Hrgovic’s promoters in some kind of shared deal. They have an obligation to their client to do what’s best for him, if fury and Isyk can’t get the unification done that’s not on them.

They want the ibf belt to be stripped so AJ can can get a belt to fight Fury for undisputed.

Basically this. I dont know if that's the reason, but it looks like that the purpose of all this crap is to strip one belt from Ussyk, undermining the fight vs fury so that this fight is not an unificiation fight. Why? no idea. Your proposal is quite likely, tbh, though.

On the other hand, fury cannot be trusted. So were I ussyk I would fight hrgovic, no doubt. It's stupid to rely on fury while planning your future, even if fury agrees to a fight, he will squeeze ussyk in the negociations because Ussyk would have no other choice.

Imho, best move from Ussyk is to fight hgrovic, win that fight and telephone fury.

I highly doubt that fury wants that fight. Have I said that already? well, that.
